In which I conform

Here at Midd, it's standard practice to create a blog while abroad. These serve as a place to share pictures, adventures, and (occasionally) admissions of homesickness. They tend to be fairly amusing and, at the very least, a perfectly decent excuse to stalk keep track of friends.

No, I'm not abroad yet [explanation involving requisite physics classes and the fall semester], but many of my friends currently are and several have asked* me to give them my own wobsite address. Since I didn't have one, there were two options: give them something random or create one. The former would have been more interesting, I suppose, but the latter is better for actual communication**. So. Here it is!

As this isn't a particularly epic introduction to my life, after a brief commercial break I'll try it again.

Take 2
Premise: A junior physics major goes through the motions of everyday life, oblivious to the underlying theme of...everyday life.

Plot: In progress.

Setting: Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont, USA. It is autumn, just after a blustery rain took the majority of the leaves from the trees. Students still aren't sure what to wear outside: for any given class, at least one kid will show up in a pea jacket and hat while another is wearing flip-flops and shorts. It is the year 2008, and the hot topics on campus are the upcoming election, the second annual International Quidditch Association World Cup, and the recent snow.

Cast: Hh, a 20-year-old student of the pea jacket rather than flip-flop variety, and her various and sundry family, friends, acquaintances, and strangers, who will be refered to in only the vaguest terms so as not to breach privacy***, confidentiality, or comfort.

Soundtrack: Vast and epic, and currently featuring Crooked Still, The Animators, and the The Raichal Idan Project.
