Duuude! Photo-ing a hand-written journal is such a cool way to do this! So much more fun to read than just type on a screen. Also, it feels like I'm actually hearing you talk what with your style, and the drawings, and the comments all along the way. Which makes me smile.
In other news, I repeat that I am glad you made it safely!

Ditto to Emmons about getting to hear you talk via your journal! It is wonderful! And, awesome that your flatmates are cool with no nuts.
Also, total props (whatever a prop is... I've always wondered why they are good to give) for having planned stuff out before you got there. I don't understand either how people can just show up some place without any plans or a place to live...... not my cup of tea either.
