In which I recount the state of things!

Hi!
*waves* and (waves) and {waves}, not to mention
\mathbf{P}_R = \int_R |\psi(x, y, z)|^2 \, dV!

At any rate, I exist and am in the midst of powering through work and not sleeping much, in preparation for more travel tomorrow. Half my roomies are off traveling, but a friend of a friend who has been in Germany all year has been crashing at my place for the past few nights, and A and I had a late night (/super early morning) essay-writing party last night (complete with Hans Zimmer) so it isn't lonely.

How things stand:

State of School:
~Classes ended the week before last
~I turned in two of my essays an hour ago
~I have one more essay to write and turn in by sometime this afternoon
~Two exams, on the 23rd and the 30th. Am I prepared? Not quite. Will I be? Yes, if studying goes according to the plan I've blocked out!

State of Travel:
~This last week was spent with my parents, traveling up to Northern Ireland to see the Giant's Causeway and then back down again to see pretty bits of Ireland. 'twas lovely! And we took ridiculous amounts of photos, which I"ll post...well, probably not for several weeks, due to more travel and studying for those exams.
~I still haven't written about Amsterdam or Dublin. Whoops. Perhaps I'll catch up at some point?
~Tomorrow* Alex and I set off to London! On Friday evening Hallie joins us! We're there until...oh, Wednesday? And then Hallie comes back with us for the week, and then once my exams are over I head back to Poitiers with Hallie for slightly under a week. And then two weeks of hanging around Ireland and very distinctly Not Traveling Out Of The Country, because I Don't Want To. Yaaaay vacation!
(~and then is too short a time at Midd for graduation and then too short a time at home and then off to a physics REU at Cornell for 10 weeks!)
((~and then family reunion, maybe?))

State of Mood:
~Sleep deprived! I got three and a half hours of sleep last night (see that bit about turning in those two papers).
~Hyper! I'm currently in Alex's apartment, preparing to work on my history paper, and she greeted me with 'do you like Peeps?' because she'd been gifted with some but is a vegetarian so can't eat them. Because they have wee little eyes and heads.** Such things do not thwart me, though!
~Unproductive! Sleep deprivation plus a ridiculous number of pink peeps plus more tea in the last twelve hours than any sane person needs in a week results in a very unfocused Hannah results in a journal post rather than a history essay.

And now, time to be productive!

*3am is not actually far enough into Tomorrow to count as Tomorrow; it would probably be more realistic to say "really, really late tonight"
**...and gelatin. More to the point.

Even if journal post != history essay, it is lovely to hear an update from you!

And oooh, London! Have you been before? If not (or even if so), you should go to Covent Gardens - they have cool shops around there, and if you're lucky you'll either a) see street performers who are stressed up as statues in all different colors or b) hear a really good live string quartet or c) neither, because I haven't actually be there in a while, but in the past, those things were always there regularly.

Have fun!! And good luck finishing the last essay, and functioning on a lack of sleep and an overabundance of peeps.
